Step 1: Assess

We will be assessing student needs in order to effectively monitor growth and progress and in order to create the most effective treatment plan!

Step 2: Design

Creating a Treatment Plan- Once your student has completed the baseline assessment they will receive a treatment plan with specific goals that target areas of need (e.g. phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing, and a reading/writing composite score). Parents can use this information as a starting point for 1:1 educational therapy sessions, or Orton-Gillingham tutoring with a certified professional. If desired, parents also have the option for the Midpoint Assessment and Final Assessment at an additional cost. Please allow 72 hours for processing of treatment plans.

Note: Students enrolled in Arise Educational Therapy Group 1:1 ed therapy sessions receive these assessments and treatment plans free of charge. For information click HERE

Step 3: Implement

Your student will have a guideline on what areas are review and those that require explicit instruction. This information is crucial for continued intervention and to monitor progress throughout the program.
